Mage tower tank challenge how to#
Most of it was figuring out how to survive certain points in P1. No other legendary.ĭid Prot Warr in about 8 pulls, similar ilev, with SotB and Rethu's. Problem was re-learning the fight after not having done it in nearly a year. Literally Moonfire spamming through P1 was enough to get Variss, and P2 was a cakewalk. Took ~30 attempts.īear at 920, even with 52 traits, after all of the nerfs was much easier in comparison. KJBW carried me hard - my biggest issue was, by far, the adds. DH (My then main), with KJBW and I believe Prydaz. Right before the first nerfs, I got it done as Veng. I also have a spriest but I heard that one sucks too without overgearing and I just don't have the energy to put into gearing mine. I might give frost mage a go at some point just because my ilvl is okayish on my boosted mage now. I tried ele shaman since it was the same encounter as outlaw rogue which I didn't find too bad, but I ended up giving up after about 20 attempts, I'm sure because of some combination of no ele gear/legendaries and my poor skill. Sub rogue was probably the hardest mechanically I only got it because I massively overgeared the thing. Of those, the easiest was sin rogue by far. I've done the healer one (not hard but obnoxiously long) / resto shaman, enhancement shaman, and all three rogue ones. Most of my alts are tanks and since it's the hardest challenge I haven't really been motivated to try. I haven't done many of them to really judge myself. Enough that it scared me away from even trying on my own 930 prot paladin. The fewest people have done them of any others, and I have consistently heard many people complain about those two, even people I would consider decent players.

Both anecdotally and statistically (a few people have posted stats and chaud also news'd them once) I believe prot warrior and paladin are the hardest.
