The charge rate depends on the amount of heat in the surrounding environment. Replenishes the onboard power supply by harnessing thermal energy in areas with an ambient temperature of 35✬ or greater. Increases maximum battery life by recycling engine thermal waste and increases engine efficiency to 300%, decreasing total power consumption by 75%.

Each successive module increases the crush depth by 400 meters. Increases the vehicle's maximum crush depth, enabling it to survive greater pressure. Not to mention the fact that a seabase can be as big as you want it to be, but I digress. The seamoth is faster than the cyclops and is more energy efficient and a regular seabase can charge batteries and power cells whilst having an infinite amount of power from multiple diffirent sources. It's a hybrid, which means it's good at being both a base and a vehicle, but it's not the best at either of them. The cyclops is one of the biggest pilotable vehicles in the game, proving to be not only a good mode of transport, but also proving to be a well functioning seabase. With the modules however it's a 5-star, best of the best, must have vehicle". Sure, you can change that with modules, but without them it's a 3-star vehicle for me. Although the downside comes when you realize how big, kinda slow and energy consuming it is when you turn on the engine. "The cyclops as a vehicle acts like a moving habitat, it has some lockers and a moonpool pre-built inside it and space for building fabricators, beds, chairs and stuff of that sort. The abundance of bonesharks pose an active threat to Seamoths and Prawn Suits. Wreck 4 is located in the Underwater Islands, suspended by two of the islands.

The Underwater Islands border one of the Mushroom Forests, Mountains, one of the Kelp Forests, the Northern Blood Kelp Zone, and one of the Grassy Plateaus.

Large Gold Deposits are rarely found near the cliffs around the biome, alongside Limestone Outcrops and Spadefish. Large Resource Deposits of Uraninite and Silver are located at the bottom with the Lava Geysers. Sandstone Outcrops and Shale Outcrops are located on the ground of most of the islands. Quartz is a common find on both the tops and walls of the islands, with Diamonds occasionally as well. In some places, small streams of sand can be seen flowing down from over the edges of the islands.

Occasionally, large chunks of rock can be seen falling down from the islands and disintegrating. Hydrothermal vents can be found on the surface of the largest island, while Lava Geysers can be found in huge numbers on the ocean floor directly underneath the islands. A large ring of broken-off rocks surrounds the largest island. Two of the largest islands have a great variety of life forms and even possess their own separate cave system. Currently, there are eighteen islands in the area, with the size of the many "islands" varying from minuscule to massive. Most of the Underwater Islands rely completely on the buoyancy provided by Ancient Floaters. It also features its own cave system, the Underwater Islands Caves. Bonesharks dwell abundantly here, along with other types of fauna and flora. The Underwater Islands are a unique biome in Subnautica, featuring multiple and massive rock formations suspended above the ocean floor.
